How to link analytic account to analytic journal

Question

Hi All,

Anyone has an idea for how to link analytic account to analytic journal?

I create a analytic account to test (path: Accounting / configuration / Analytic accounting / Analytic Journals)

then i move to (path: Accounting / configuration / Analytic accounting / Analytic Accounts), but I can not find the place that I can put the analytic account I created just now.

Am I missing something? Hope my question is clear enough, thank you so much !

There's no need to link analytic accounts and analytic journals since you have to specify the journal before posting analytic entries.

You sometimes cannot specify the analytic journal (e.g. sale orders, invoices, etc), but in this case you always have to select a general accounting journal that can be linked to an analytic journal.
