How to know if the Product is Available when creating a Sales Order?

Question

Is it possible to know when a product on hand is still available or already reserved when creating a Sales order?

For example, I have *Product 1* with a quantity on hand of *1000 pcs*,

SO01 ordered *500pcs.*

SO02 ordered *500pcs.*

SO03 ordered *300pcs*

Upon creation of SO03, is it possible to notify the user that the quantity on hand of *Product 1* was already reserved for SO01 and SO02?,

There is a way to reserve stock on Sales Order lines via a community module.
