I would like to know how can I reconfigure the Chart of Accounts...
Say for Example, I have installed Indian COA while installing the account module, later I want to change it, say I want to change it to a Brazilian COA...
So how can to reconfigure it Brazilian COA, and at the same time what would happen to the records say Invoices/ payments which were done earlier using Indian COA....
Any Help appreciated...
Accourding to your needs and scenario, you have to create a new DB and install the Brazilian COA.
Ya I know, but still I don't think creating a new DB is the feasible solution...

Once you install the indian chart of accounts and done any entries in those accounts. such as debit and credit, there is no way , you can change any of these , reason is existing chart of accounts creates journal entries which is mapped with the account_id which is very important aspect when creating any transaction or generating reports Another reason is every chart of accounts , upon installing creates its own template and co related with account types along its ID.
S exactly.. so my point is, is there any way out of it at all...
Other than creating/setting up new database with new COA
