The report should consist of Name, Employee Number, Effective stat date, Job, Location, Department, Manager, Payroll information etc.

Hi,
Go to contracts tree view, hide the unwanted fields from the tree view and select the needed records and from the start button (*) button click export all, now you will get the data in the excel format.



If this doesn't fit your needs, you may have to look for third party apps or built an app providing the same.

Are reports being same for community as well as enterprise editions?

export all feature provide the data as an excel, which can be called a report also, as it represent the data.

In enterprise there are difference, for example dynamic reports for accounting in enterprise
