Hello Odoo Community,

I am looking for guidance on integrating ZKTeco biometric devices (uFace 800) with Odoo. I have five devices located in different branches, and they do not share the same network. Additionally, I do not have a static public IP or an on-premise server to centralize the connections.

My Questions:

  1. How can I connect these devices to Odoo without a static public IP?
  2. What are the detailed requirements for setting up the integration?
  3. I have heard about ADMS as a possible solution to connect ZKTeco devices over the internet without a static IP. How does it work, and can it integrate with Odoo?

Any advice, recommended modules, or step-by-step guidance would be greatly appreciated!

This module supports all ZK versions and works with both IP and Domain.

Hi,


Integrating ZKTeco devices (such as uFace 800) with Odoo in a multi-branch environment (with different networks, no static IP, and no on-premises server) is possible with the right setup and tools, especially with ZKTeco’s ADMS platform or BioTime software.


BioTime is ZKTeco's official time attendance platform that communicates with devices over the internet using their cloud-like ADMS protocol.


- Each uFace 800 device is configured to send attendance logs to BioTime over the internet via ADMS protocol.


- BioTime server collects all attendance data (it can be hosted on a local PC/server or cloud server).


- You build or use a connector to sync BioTime data with Odoo.


- There are many paid modules for this integration.
