Hey all, 

I'm new to Odoo (openERP) and I'm trying to set up a custom instance containing logbooks for customers that are interested in attaining certain services. It could be renting a car, jetski, hotel reservation, restaurants and all that. Now usually when the client calls we collect what they want to have and their information. I was wondering if was possible to create categories of events,shows, reservation and have the nessasary fields needed to proceed with the customers request ?

Each category will need to have specific fields needed to proceed with the service the client wants, like passport information for flights and dates, for renting a car they will need proof of ID for example. Hopefully in the end we have a base of customers with all information so that there will be no re-entry of the data. 

 

Can anyone point me to the right direction before I start learning on how to create a module for this?
