Constraint Error The code of the account must be unique per company !

Question

I got this errror when I select my customizes chart of accounts. When I try to change the code of existing account in system to be unique, It gets no error, but I'm wondering because in other COA like in US eventhough they have the same code in account templates, their is no error in installing that.. Please Help..

I don't see any duplicate codes in this list of the US Chart of Account codes:

I also don't see any duplicate codes in the US Chart of Account templates:

42800 is listed twice, once for the
Agricultural template and once for
the Financial Services template
51800 is listed twice, once for the
Advertising template and once for the
Construction template
Since you don't use two templates at a time, these are not duplicates.

Perhaps you can post the duplicates you are seeing?
