So I've been planning to use Odoo for retail purposes.

Some products are sold in loose packets as well as in boxes, but they have different prices not directly multiplied. for example:

1 packets costs RM1, 1 box consists of 20 packets, but is at the cost of RM18.

At first I thought of using product packaging, but that only helps with the quantity management in internal transfers within branches, but not the selling price in Pos.

So I've thought about using a combo of 20 with a seperate price of RM1.8 each, but that would need the combo and the packaging to have the same barcode, is that possible?

If not, are there any other ways to resolve this?

Believe you should define products by uniqueness. In your example it seems like 1 packet is different to 1 box, so you should define them as different products.

By combo do you mean a KIT product? It would be a separate product and barcode.
