Hi, Can i import bank statement in excel or CSV format in odoo 10,11 and 12 CE?

Ive been trying to get the statemetn import to work in 16 but i just cant get it to load the statement i use the template that comes with the module and it keeps tellig me that im need to use the proper layout.
ive been strugling for weeks and i just dont know how to get this to work?

The issue is a little old but it can still interest other people.
You can import CSV file with bank statement information with Odoo entreprise by default.
After can also find some OCA module for specific local format compliant with Odoo CE
Search OCA/bank-statement-import
Seems Ok for some bank in Brazil or Croatian
OFX and QIF format can be consider too ! In Odoo CE
