Thank you for your reply. I also thank you for being the most active responder on the forum. I have looked at the link that you gave. It's quite confusing.

What I did was look at the account configuration with demo data - 3 accounts are made:

1. Stock Interim Account (received)

2. Stock Interim Account (delivered)

3. Stock Valuation Account

All three have current asset as the account type.

Product Category:

1. Valuation method - real price

2. Inventory method - real time (perpetual)

Force removal strategy - FIFO

This seems to give me some values that seem reasonable.

I do hope Odoo posts a more detailed version of the explanation.
