Kandil Industries

Kandil Brothers started as a pioneer in manufacturing manual and primitive agricultural
machinery, later on changed to semi-automatic ones, then on to boilers in the 1900s,
and then finally focusing on steel.
From 1989 through 2012, Kandil Steel grew from a simple cutting line in the old
industrial city of Qaliub, to the largest flat steel producer in the Middle East. Owning the
first private cold rolling mill in the Middle East, then setting up its first galvanizing line in
2003, with a total annual production capacity of 65,000 M Tons, Kandil Steel built its
name as a reliable coated-steel supplier in both European and Middle Eastern markets.
