Marc Dutrieux has a long experience in IT management. As a Civil Engineer in telecommunication, Marc joined Mastercard in 2000 as senior manager for large technology and IT projects.
In 2006 he joined Approach a IT consulting company focusing on the Financial Services industry, as Chief Operating Officer.
From 2009 to 2012 he worked as CTO of Borderlinx a global e-commerce logistics start-up. Since 2012 he works as consultant for various projects for Mastercard and acts as CIO for Realco.
Realco has been using Odoo applications since version 6. At that time, a great deal of development work was carried out to meet business needs in the areas of manufacturing, accounting, sales, inventories and quality control.
This situation is causing several issues such as lack of data consistency, unreliable inventory valuations and high maintenance costs. As a matter of fact, the company has dramatically changed its business processes to call on external partners and installed a new factory.
A migration is not only a technical move from one instance to another. It is an unique opportunity to redesign the business process using state of the art Odoo applications.
During this conference, you will discover how Realco was able to reduce specific developments by 80% thanks to the migration to version 16.
The result: cost savings on maintenance combined with improved productivity thanks to the new functionalities.
A fine example of evolution rather than migration.
