1) Show a real example of usage of Odoo Enterprise for a manufacturing company

(turnover is ~5M€)

2) Show the best development results which we made:

- Used module for customs report generation (“DEB” in France) to reduce

preparation of report from 7 days to 10 minutes. This helped to remove one

person in the bookkeeping department.

- Automated creation and sending of invoices to customers: reduced processing of

delivery from 15 minutes to 15 seconds. This removed one person in the

warehouse department.

- Implemented “Supplier evaluation” report with automatic sending to suppliers.

This gave suppliers a clear vision of their monthly rate.

- Adjusted algorithm “Make-to-order” to support changes of delivery dates and

volumes (because we work in B2B, and such situations are normal)

- Implemented automatic online(!) margin control for our contracts for

consumables.

3) All cases show that the cost of development is much less than cost of savings.

Key learnings:

1) Odoo is a flexible software which can be adjusted to your business with relatively low

cost of development (if compare to savings)

2) After 4 years of using Odoo, it works fast, even on mobile internet.

3) Having all modules in one software gives wide opportunities for digital transformation.

For example real time margin analysis with automatic notifications of managers helps to

save up to 1000€ for every such notification.

4) Using Odoo we reduced time for processing outgoing delivery from 15 minutes to 15

seconds. As a result we removed 1 person from the warehouse (saved ~30K€/year).

5) We improved our communication with suppliers after the development of the “Supplier

evaluation module” with automatic monthly reports to suppliers based on real reception

dates
