[Workshop] Why (and how to) challenge your customers

Antoine Huvelle is Partner Services Manager at our office in Louvain-La-Neuve and has operated many different roles within Odoo over the past 11 years.

Since January 2021, Antoine has been working with a consultant team to improve the partners'  experience from a consulting standpoint. Among other things, the services offered by this team include offering a structured onboarding course, technical training, and helping partners find development resources to supplement their own development efforts.

One of the things I really like about our Implementation Methodology is the idea of challenging our customers. It's not an easy task and it can feel awkward when you don't know how to do it and/or when it's not part of your company structure.

This workshop session aims at showing you, through some examples and through your direct participation, how we could do it in ways you can replicate in your company. We'll explore how this "challenge" thing is part of our culture and how it percolates to our ways of working with customers:

  • How we challenge developments needs
  • How we challenge customer priorities & phasing
  • How we challenge the added value perception
  • How we accept client challenges as well. And where we failed at challenging. 

All of this through real examples that happened this last year.
