Marc Blekkink studied chemical engineering with a specialization in control technology. He implemented automation projects in the factories within GE Plastics in both America and Europe. As an entrepreneur, he was involved in several initiatives to optimize production and business processes. With Movilitas.Cloud, a SaaS solution was developed for the tracking of medicines. He is the founding father and Product Owner of Movilitas.Cloud at Movilitas.

Every wholesale medicine company faces the problem that scanning and verification actions need to be fulfilled for regulatory compliance. Since Medisale trades prescription drugs and, among other things, they are subject to the so-called FMD (Falsified Medicines Directive) legislation. All incoming medicines must be scanned and verified with the BeMVO (Belgian Medicines Verification Organisation). This scanning is done with Movilitas Mobile based on receipt orders from Odoo. After scanning and verification, the quantities and batches are passed to Odoo to manage the stock.
The interface between Odoo and Movilitas.Cloud is a standard Rest API from Movilitas.Cloud, which calls Odoo to forward the orders. In addition, Odoo has an endpoint and a subscription to a webhook from Movilitas.Cloud to get the status of the order back. In this presentation, Marc will explain the FMD requirements and how Movilitas.Cloud can support companies to ensure compliance.
