In today’s digital world, having timely and consistent data is the key to business success. This, however, presents a challenge for many companies that are still relying on different independent software programs. These programs work as a standalone database(s) processing only single department data. The pains of this type of unconnected network can be vast and many. For example, without real-time data from the Inventory department, the Sales department won’t be able to provide correct information on what products are available to their customers. Furthermore, in order to keep data in sync, employees are required to make multiple data entries, increasing the risk of manual entry errors.
Although traditional ERPs were meant to solve these challenges, they often came at a large price. Many medium and small-sized companies found it impossible to come up with that type of budget. The new generation of open source ERPs, such as Odoo, solves this problem. Odoo comes at a minimal cost and with all of features we expect from an ERP system.
Blue Stingray will present the benefits of running multiple companies on a single Odoo instance as well as the importance of upgrading to the newest Odoo version.
