1. What needs to be set up for accurate POS invoice recording in accounting?
A linked email template for sending receipts. A default salesperson assigned to each POS session. A price list with taxes included. A corresponding accounting journal.
2. What happens when you create an invoice in the POS for a registered customer?
An invoice is issued, ready for print/download, and recorded. A delivery slip is automatically printed instead of an invoice. The invoice is sent directly to the customer’s email address. The POS only allows you to issue invoices at the end of the day.
3. What is required to successfully issue an invoice for an order in POS?
The cashier must select at least two payment methods. A customer must be selected before invoicing them. The receipt must first be printed before issuing the invoice. A delivery address must be added to the order.
4. How can you retrieve an invoice in POS from the POS dashboard?
Go to Configuration ‣ Payment Methods, then select the order. Click "Start Session" to reopen past transactions. Go to POS ‣ Orders ‣ Orders, select the order, and click “Invoice”. Access the Accounting app and search for the customer's name.
5. How can a customer generate an invoice themselves later?
By emailing the POS manager with their receipt attached. By calling customer support and providing their order number. By logging into the eCommerce portal and accessing past orders. By scanning the QR code on their receipt and submitting billing info.
