XML - RPC BOM structure and attachments

I am working to access the BOM data from XML-RPC, I can access the fields like mrp.bom and mrp.bom.line. My questions are:

  1. How can I access the total products instead of search for a particular product?
  2. How to access the particular product structure i.e., components and its attachments if any from ir.attachment?
  3. How can I upload/download attachment from XML-RPC? ids=models.execute_kw(DB,uid,ODOO_PWD,'ir.attachment','search',[[['name','=','thermaln.png']]])
    print(ids)
    print("thermaln.png")[record]=models.execute_kw(DB,uid,ODOO_PWD,'ir.attachment','read',[ids])
    I want to download it to a new local directory. Thanks in advance.

The file storage methods available cannot be accessed remotely. Can any body guide with the work around?

To access the total products from the BOM data in Odoo using XML-RPC, you can use the "search" and "read" methods to search for and read all of the BOM records in the database.

To search for all of the BOM records, you can use the following code:

ids = models.execute_kw(DB, uid, ODOO_PWD, 'mrp.bom', 'search', [[]])

This code will search for all of the BOM records in the database and return a list of IDs for the records that were found. You can then use these IDs to read the BOM records and access the data that you need.

To read the BOM records and access the product data, you can use the following code:

boms = models.execute_kw(DB, uid, ODOO_PWD, 'mrp.bom', 'read', [ids])

This code will read the BOM records and return a list of dictionaries containing the data for each BOM record. You can then access the product data from the dictionaries using the keys for the product fields, such as "product_id" and "product_qty".

Thankyou for the structured answer. I was under the impression that search command always requires an input. I am able to access the attachment ids and records. Like this:

How can I save the file locally or upload file from local directory.
I have seen some code that says conversion of datas to binary64. But I am unable to perform it. Would you please guide regarding that as well that will cover the point 3.

1) How can I access the total products instead of search for a particular product?
Ans : To get access of all the product you can write like below: 

product_ids = models.execute_kw(DB,uid,ODOO_PWD,'product.product','search',[[]])

2) How to access the particular product structure i.e., components and its attachments if any from ir.attachment?
Ans : You can search for the bom of the particular product and from that BOM you can access its component.

bom_id = models.execute_kw(DB,uid,ODOO_PWD,'mrp.bom','search_read',[[['product_id', '=' , product('id of the product)]]], {'fields': ['bom_line_ids']})

3) How can I upload/download attachment from XML-RPC?
Ans: You can upload the attachment by creating it from xmlrpc script and download it by simply going to the attachment menu in settings >> technical >> Database structure >> Attachment

Thankyou for your answer. About (3), I understand the UI method, but I am looking for XML-RPC method to download the file locally to a different directory instead for database or upload from local directory to database. Please guide. I can access the record like this:
