I am aware that I need SSL certificate/ fixed IP for Ecommerce trading & assuming that this must be a paid service.
Unable to find pricing for this or could it br that this is also Free?
you can use free SSL certificates for your website. I suggest using Nginx in conjunction with Let's Encrypt to accomplish this.

In essence, It is inclusive with Odoo even with the free version.
The functions of a SSL are standard in Odoo.
