There's no easy way to migrate from rml to something capable of creating xls reports.
Meaning, you'll have to create a new report.
Depending on the report you need to migrate, you probably want to have a look at:
1) report_xls (https://github.com/OCA/reporting-engine)
2) aeroo (https://launchpad.net/aeroo)
