Hey everyone,


I'm using Odoo v.17 Barcode Application with Cipherlab RK95 PDA scanner and even though I can receive goods using GS1 barcodes, when I try to make an inventory adjustment, I receive the error "No picking or location or product corresponding to barcode 0110000000240458172408311045678". The same problem occurs with all the products and not with the specific.


Additionally, sometimes when I first scan something (for example the barcode of a receipt document generated by odoo) in the barcode app home page, I'm receiving the same message. The second time I scan the same barcode of the operation everything works fine. It's not something that occurs only with PDA, as I'm receiving the same error when trying with my mobile phone.


Anyone know what's going wrong?

The barcode is not a valid GS1 code.  The AI (Application identifier) 01 - that you have at the start, indicate the following should be a GTIN (Global trade Identification number) - or product id for short.

What should follow right after the AI, is a company prefix, and I can see it is missing.  The prefix - and ID for your company that is mandatory to ensure the number is unique and must be created by you national GS1 organization.

Hi, if I read you barcode using my GS1 smartphone app, it doesn't seem to be valid. Are you sure you have correctly set the AI separators?
