Hello,

I want to use the Odoo 19 POS [Point of Sale] App in Germany. Therefore this POS-system must have a "TSE" for fiskal reasons. The apparently out-of-the-box solution from Odoo is the "fiskaly cloud". This is a big step forward compared to older Odoo versions because there used to be no solution at all.
But the "fiskaly cloud" has disadvantages: 

1. it must have a steady internet connection and 
2. it is much more expensive than a hardware TSE solution (e.g. the Swissbit USB-stick)

ad 1) For now this is accepted by the authorities but I wonder how long- because as long there is no internet connection there will be no TSE recording. Yes, I know, the POS data is still in the browsers database then and maybe it gets recorded as soon as it is in the process to be sent when the network resumes to work. But I don't bet that this solution lasts forever.

ad 2) If you just roughly calculate you'll see that there is an enormous difference in price:
The  "fiskaly‑Cloud" is about 15 € per POS system and TSE. This equals 15 € x 12 x 5 = 900 € in 5 yers. To my knowldge there is no discount for multiple POS systems, so if you have, say, 10 POS you pay 9000 € in 5 years only for that TSE stuff.
The Swissbit TSE- USB stick [PU-50n TSE] is ca. 200 € and the certifikate is valid for 5 years (+6 months) so you can use ist about 5 years.

Also, the local Swissbit TSE solution does not need a functioning network which gives much more long term security (see above).

I think these are good reasons to have a closer look to such a local TSE solution. Unfortunately this doesn't come 'out of the box' and the question is

 ****Who has implemented the Swissbit hardware TSE already?****

As far as I can see this middleware is used to connect the Swissbit hardware with the Odoo (or any other) POS system:
