how to test a module

Question

hi, i am trying to modify one Prestashop module, and when i make the changes in any file, for example text, and I start webclient, the change is not updated, but the file is modified.
I thing this is because I need to restart openerp service, but i am using Windows. How can i do it?

The answer is too late, but maybe it will help someone else, for windows:
If you have installed your odoo instance with the odoo[version].exe, you need to restart the service : control panel > administrative tools > services > odoo
[version]

And then restart the service.
Most of the time that is not enough, you need to go to the apps and update your module, so you can see the changes.
