Hello , I have made some changes in the ecommerce website through the editor which says,

But later on i went to the xml files inherited the respective xml file and changed its content through xml code , but now it doesnt update in the website. 

How can I fix this problem , i have already a lot of data added to the website so I cant delete the database and start new, How can i revert the changed I made from the website editor so when i update my code, the code changes will also be seen on the website.
