Scenario is:
A manufacturing order is created for 5 products each produced by one Raw material component (both are tracked by lot number), let's say Half way through Production something happened and we had to stop the production. but we have already produced 3 out of 5 products.

Current findings: Odoo only allows partial production when there is no work orders involved. you can easily post inventory of the finished products and have the rest of your items remain as reserved.
But when you complete partial amounts of a work order, then Post Inventory, the system starts to ask for the lot number of the Raw material (which is already in there). Also you cant Cancel the remaining Work Order.

Let me know if there is a hidden secret way to cancel those pesky work orders, and if there is a way to post inventory of a partial Manufacturing Order that involves work orders.​
