Antoine Marquais was born in Paris in June 1979 by a German mother and a French father. 
After living 22 years in Paris and having obtained an Art History degree in Paris X Nanterre, he started his schooling in graphic design in Brussels (CAD). After a year in CAD, he was hired by one of his teachers to work with her in website design.
He worked for a few years in graphic and web design while practicing intensively in wakeboarding.
This led him to slowly leave the world of graphic design to focus on his passion for wakeboarding.
In 2007 he started to work during the summer seasons in cable parks in Germany and France to live his passion. He became the wakeboard vice-champion of France in 2010. After that, his new project was to create his own cable park. Which he did in 2012 by starting the company Belgium Cable Park. At the beginning of this adventure he only built a waterski lift on the 25-hectares field he had acquired.
Gradually realizing the potential that the site offered in terms of leisure activities, he teamed up with his partner Alice to create a tree climbing and a foodtruck.
Since 2015 the Dock79 has only grown with the addition of an Aquapark in 2017 and the construction of an indoor trampoline park in 2020.


During this talk discover how an amusement Park in Belgium managed their reservation bookings.

A customer was facing many issues with their reservations (administrative tasks, no possibilities for the customer to book a slot via the website, etc). We decided to work in collaboration with the customer to find out a solution to reduce the administrative tasks for them and to facilitate the reservation for their customers. We developed a module based on Odoo V12 Enterprise.  

We will discuss:  

- Online booking for the customer   

- Slots reservation directly via the Website  

- Integration with WordPress  

- Managing of the reservation by the customer (number of places, slots,...)  

- Online Payment    

- Back-Office for the amusement park  

- Managing of the reservation  

- In a few clicks, they are able to manage the available slots    

Since the installation of Odoo, the customer increased the number of reservations and reduced their time-consuming administrative tasks.
