Rothband, a leader in radiology supplies since 1911, offers a wide range of UK-manufactured radiation protection products, including lead aprons and protective eyewear. After a management buyout in 2015, Managing Director Paul Dixon identified the need for an ERP system to streamline operations and chose Odoo for its modular, user-friendly platform.
Smart IT was enlisted to integrate Rothband's back-office systems, including accounting, into Odoo, customizing the CRM module to handle complex customer relationships and reporting requirements. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown, Smart IT provided effective remote training. The collaboration continues with plans to upgrade to the latest Odoo version, enhancing website CMS and ecommerce functionality to support Rothband's growth ambitions.
