Adhesivos Técnicos y Troquelados (ATyT) is a company conceived to provide expert advice and specialized service in technical adhesive products. The company has the ability to transform any type of adhesive solution into the length, width and type of presentation required. A company with three pillars: personalized and quality service, commitment and responsibility, and stable and quality products.

Since its beginnings in 1999, ATyT has not ceased in its development and growth over the years, reaching the beginning of its digitalization in 2021. It was following this path where they found several needs that required a change, digitalizing various processes and areas of the company.



Starting the digitalization


Starting the digitalization process with Odoo arose for different reasons, on the one hand the manufacturing section. ATyT required an implementation of all production processes and to register all raw materials in a system with the aim of being able to keep an accurate control of times and the impact of production processes on the final costs of the finished product.

In this vein, inventory control also required digitization, and the company needed to computerize its Warehouse Management System (WMS) in order to have active inventory control, management of minimum and maximum stock levels, and active management of PDAs for relocation operations, reception and dispatch of materials.

All this needed to be linked to a web page linked to an e-commerce, unifying everything in the same ERP. To do this, they also found the need to create a secure payment platform and an intranet for customers to consult invoices, orders, etc.

Finally, the challenge of purchasing and sales was the last reason why they made the leap towards digitization. Through purchasing they needed active cost control at destination, having an exact control of the logistical impact of importing products. On the other hand, for sales they required greater speed in the creation of products and a coding system with which to have more efficiency for alternative sales and cross-selling.

Before using Odoo they were managing manufacturing processes in inventory with paper, purchasing through Excels and they had an outdated website. These management methods were inefficient for an effective management, as well as the impossibility to get accurate stock control reports, so that future forecasts were made without any objective data.

Solving the pain points

When the time came to take the plunge and start digitalizing, ATyT did not hesitate to choose Odoo as the most competitive option on the market. Thus, together with the official partner Tecniloop, they began the implementation of the system and started working with Odoo in November 2022.

When the time came to implement Odoo, the biggest blockage was found on the part of the staff, being a very noticeable change for users used to working with certain processes for many years. This problem is usually generalized at the moment of implementing a system like Odoo, but it is always overcome. From ATyT's side, they highlight that both the ease of implementation and the intuitive interface of Odoo, as well as its modularity, were key to the acceptance by ATyT's employees.

ATyT and Tecniloop followed the Quickstart methodology that Odoo is always committed to, implementing the system in a staggered manner to allow cementing the different changes in the critical modules, which in this case were inventory, manufacturing, purchasing, sales and invoicing.

Once these modules were implemented and having verified their correct operation, it was time to expand, thanks to the modular system they were able to add the human resources, website and marketing modules, with which they would already have a fully functional ERP implemented in a complete way.

ATyT also had continuous support from Tecniloop, with which they were able to maintain momentum and continuous improvement. They thus increased their confidence in the system and are still in the process of improvement, thanks to Odoo's scalability, new ideas for improvement keep coming up, ATyT is always thinking about taking the next step.


No one would be willing to give up all the options and capabilities that Odoo offers in the tasks they perform on a daily basis.



A successful implementation


The problems that ATyT initially faced have been solved thanks to Odoo. On the one hand, the comprehensive tool that has been provided to them has allowed them to implement changes and improvements that today allow them to scale up to bigger challenges.

In addition, Odoo has allowed them to grow in an orderly and controlled manner, being able to see all phases of the production process and allowing them to make more efficient operational decisions.


It has allowed us to automate and reduce repetitive tasks, thus gaining efficiency and being able to spend time on valuable tasks.


The improvements brought by Odoo have taken place in all areas of the company. On the one hand, on the production side, they now have a control of the material consumed, the real production times and an exhaustive control of all the surplus material and waste that can be generated from these processes.

On the other hand, ATyT now has measurable data regarding productivity, time control, material expenses, etc., things that they did not have before. Thanks to this, actions are now taken with relevance to them, allowing to set objectives and focused and concrete solutions.

Apart from finding improvements in the areas they were looking for, by now having a fully integrated ERP such as Odoo, they have been able to expand in more aspects and are aware that there is still much potential and many features to squeeze. That is why ATyT would recommend Odoo.
