Return null instead of false for date/datetime fields in XMLRPC api

Question

Hi,
I'm trying to call the REST XMLRPC API from PHP with parameters. All is working well except date/datetime fields are returned as false when they should be null. I found that there were an option tz, but it's not working with that. Is it possible to do that somehow with parameters?

With xmlrpc in Odoo, null cannot be marshalled, so Odoo will usually return false to represent the absence of a value.
