It was a trial site. Create a trial of your own to do your your own testing.
I just installed it with CLEAN theme at pagespeed.odoo.com https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fpagespeed.odoo.com%2F&tab=mobile
and I am getting only 62 with mobile and typical apps for e-commerce site.
No webpage modification...
Which is ok but still very slow...
Is there a product manager at Odoo taking care of web speed ?
It's working for me and he's at 73% on mobile from the US, but we just migrated from 15 to 16 and are still at 34% on mobile. It's a super simple site so I'm not really sure what we're doing wrong or why he is able to get his so fast and we can't.
The most gains came by using a CDN. That really speed thing ups. Also, I reduced/eliminated all 3rd party requests. And been playing around with QWEBs templates looking for oportunities for optimization.
My website running under the online v16 hosting and free unilimted trial plan is achieving a mobile of score of 70 to 80. For desktop it is usually 90+. The other 3 parameters are at 100 for both. It's a basic website with text, images, and a few of CSS and JS here and there. Plus the e-commerce shop.
Like 2 months ago, I was getting like 30 for mobile performance (and horrendous SEO positioning, basically non-existant website). It's my first website ever, pretty much as a hobby, and didn't know much about performance. Been learning, practicing, editing the Odoo views and improving to the best I can. SEO back then was horrible, now some pages are starting to hit page 1 of Google. I still need to wait like 1 or 2 more months to determine wheather Odoo websites are suitable for SEO or not. Google Search Console and other 3rd party tools currently show positive trends, so I remain hopeful that SEO will improve and can stick to Odoo rather than migrating to Wordpress or something else.

Ali, I mostly followed the guidance provided by PageSpeed. They have lots of tips on how to improve your performance and SEO. Follow their advices when testing ur website and u wll have great results.

Hey Pavel,
Were you ever able to make any progress on this or have you tested it on Odoo 16? We spoke with our non Odoo web developers / SEO people and it seems the main issue is the average content full paint speed, which should be fixable, but we don't want to pay for the development if it's fixed in v16.
P.S - I speed tested your site to see if you solved the issue and I noticed it's showing as not secure when viewed from the USA. Looks like you're having some kind of SSL issue.
Odoo 15 is fine and 16 should make a big progress..
