In current Odoo versions (including v18 and v19), it is no longer possible to separate the Peppol sending and receiving endpoints in the e-invoicing settings.

Odoo now bundles both capabilities under the same Peppol Access Point configuration, which means:

• Once Peppol is activated, sending and receiving are both enabled,

• There is no built-in switch to enable only sending or only receiving.

You're right that older versions allowed enabling them separately, but since the consolidation of the eInvoicing framework (starting around v17+), Odoo’s design assumes a full Access Point implementation, so the configuration is unified.

Is there a workaround?

Not from the official UI.

If you really need to decouple the behavior, the only options are:

1. Override the Peppol service endpoints (custom module), or

2. Intercept messages using automated actions, server actions, or custom code to block receiving or sending.

But out-of-the-box: separation is no longer supported.
