Houssine is an Odoo Technical Leader with 17 years of experience. He worked for the main consulting companies in Belgium (Atos, Steria, GFI, IBM).

He worked 7 years in the java world before reaching the Odoo universe in 2011. Started on Odoo in v5.1, he saw the main evolutions of Odoo and customized it in various contexts and integrated with several external system.


Luminus e-Mobility offers charging solutions and services for electric vehicles for both private and business customers.
The sale of an electric charging station includes the material and the installation. In order to accurately estimate the costs of the installation and plan it, Luminus submits a "Digital Home Check" to their customers. It highlights all the specific characteristics of the customer's home (type of meter, voltage, etc.).

The challenge? To offer a dynamic form according to the selected terminal and guide the customer with completing it.
The constraints? To keep certain flexibility and autonomy in the form configurations so that it evolves over time.
The objective? The questionnaire must generate an accurate quote based on the customer's answers, drive precise installation tasks and trigger automated actions.

This talk aims to present the technical solution behind the form.
Based on the Survey module, the customer can control the configuration :

  • Dynamic page order
  • Conditional display of questions
  • Exit scenario
  • Customized display of pop-ups, tooltips...
  • Possibility of attaching photos

We will also highlight a parallel between the front end & the backend to demonstrate the solution's flexibility.
