same problem with V9C !

got a wrong page coming back form Paypal (Wrong Method) with IPN flagged out in odoo, and disable  under paypal

page called from paypal is Localhost:8069/payment/paypal/DPN

question that may be linked to the bug But what is the S2S page  ?

I have settle in paypal reccord with the following  :

- address mail for my paypall account
- Supplyer ID coming from my Paypal account
- IPN : flagged out

I will try Runbot as you suggest, I really don't know what it is, I started using Odoo 2 month ago, I have been 15 years employee in SAP
and now retired....and really impress by Odoo I try to promote Open ERP for those who are looking for jobs

I will send you document 

If you could make some suggestion, I have been locked on this error for one WEEK now

No problem, glad you figured it out.

I recommend always trying to reproduce your error on the latest runbot for the branch you're using (eg. 8.0):

It's definitely the quickest way to check if it's more likely a problem with your setup, or a possible bug.

I have been using 9.0 in production for a few months now and do almost daily updates. I've had no problems with Paypal's IPN triggering a confirmation of a sale order until a couple of days ago.

I've spoken to PayPal and they have checked the IPN logs and could not find an issue on their end.

Although I haven't been able to pinpoint where the problem came from (eg. a commit that effected this behaviour), I have done an update to the latest code from GitHub and done an upgrade on the base module.

My PayPal payments are now working fine and triggering a confirmed sale order as they should.

I would suggest in your case make a backup of your filesystem and database, then upgrade Odoo (using git or whatever method you installed with) and then upgrade the base module which should trigger an upgrade of any other modules that depend on base.

In my case it's fixed the issue, maybe it will help in your case as well.
