If the plugin is broken, the unodpkg manager (the responsible for the extensions) can't remove it but you can do it manually.

Assuming you are using Linux, simply locate your hidden uno_packages folder in your home, In my case, the one used by LibreOffice is located in

.config/libreoffice/4/user/

You can easily find it from a terminal using the commands

sudo updatedb
locate uno_packages

Don't remove the one on usr/*.

Your installation of OO will back to a brand new state.
