We’ve seen a significant increase in partner recruitment, with over 50% of partners being less than a year old. It is essential that they have the tools necessary to contribute to the ecosystem, and this talk is intended to provide useful information in three key sectors deemed crucial for success as an Odoo Partner (Marketing/Business Development/Odoo Collaboration). This talk will provide an agnostic approach to best practices for building team capacity, developing Odoo expertise, and creating marketing and sales strategies.
Agenda:
This talk will be broken down into three main agenda items; 30 day goals, 90 day goals, and 365 day goals. Each agenda item will have three subsections;
- Sales/marketing
- Business development
- Odoo engagement
30 day goals:
Essentially “getting set up”. Establishing an online presence, building the foundation of your business practices, setting goals, creating a relationship with your account manager, identifying an educational structure
90 day goals:
Building the business, lead generation, and vertical/application expertise. We should have the business foundation set and a baseline Odoo knowledge set, and now we’re looking to build capacity and prepare for implementation/start our first sales cycle
365 day goals:
Establish credibility in the ecosystem. Discussion around maintaining relationships, building an inbound pipeline, and finding a niche.
