What we expect

We are hiring a Growth Marketing Specialist to join the marketing team! This role requires no travel.

Odoo is similar to many open-source projects where customized programming, support, and other services are provided by an active global community and partners network. The community comprises more than 1,500 active members and has contributed more than 4,500 modules to the ongoing enrichment of Odoo. The network of certified partners, established in more than 120 countries, deploys the solution locally. The software, with more than 1,500 downloads a day, is one of the most frequently installed business suites worldwide.

Now, we’re looking for an experienced Growth Marketing Specialist to join our team, take ownership of our paid advertising budget, and accelerate website leads and new MRR while maintaining and then improving our efficiency.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Growth Marketing Specialist will be responsible for scaling and optimizing all aspects of the Odoo paid advertising program, with a focus on paid search and social. If you love digging into data, finding growth and optimization opportunities, and driving MRR, this role is for you.

  • Manage Campaigns. You’ll identify and execute campaign management tactics daily across multiple campaign types (e.g. search, social, display, video) including account structure, settings, targeting, creative, bidding, A/B testing, analytics and more.

  • Optimize Constantly. You’ll work to increase CTR, conversion rate, and leads through best practice adoption and continuous testing effort, all while improving revenue efficiency as we grow.

  • Hit Growth Targets. We’ve got some aggressive goals, and you’re fired up to try to exceed them with quick and precise execution. You’ll find opportunities for growth and efficiency that we haven’t thought of yet, and chart your own course to realize them.

  • Budget, Test and Iterate. We have a healthy budget across platforms and accounts. You’ll lead that spend, allocate dollars and time efficiently, run tests, report, and iterate to improve performance.

  • Self-direct and Prioritize. There’s so much you could do, but you’ll focus on what you should do, right away. To-do lists fear you and executives love you because you get the high-impact things done first and so quickly.

Must Have
  • Master Classer. You’re aware of the latest PPC best practices. You’re confident you can make an impact. But you’re also humble enough to know you need to follow some SaaS marketing masters—because this industry changes, fast.
  • Detail Lover. You understand that one false keystroke can topple an entire attribution empire. One typo can hurt our brand. And one upload error can shut down an entire account. This is not a “fast and loose” role, and you like it that way.

  • Number Cruncher. After your last two plus years in SaaS, you know paid advertising is a numbers game. Mental math might not come naturally, but it helps if it does. (Formulas and pivot tables do, too.)

  • Revenue & Efficiency Driver. The beauty and the challenge of paid advertising is how easily it’s tied to revenue. That thrills you, because you’re going to make a direct impact on the bottom line and the lives of your coworkers.

  • Ambitious Executer. You’ve crushed campaign management in paid search or social before, have some SaaS marketing experience or certifications under your belt, and are ready to take on more campaigns, more budget, or both.

  • You are open-minded and can react to change with agility

  • You have an intrapreneur mindset and are not afraid to take appropriate initiatives

  • You are a quick and autonomous learner

  • You have a passion for software

  • You are approachable, honest, and a fun team player
