I am trying to get an image to look right when building a page on my Odoo website. The structure block "cover" has a large image at its core. Does anyone know what size and resolution is recommended? Where can I find this information for this and other block structures?

If you are using the website builder in odoo for building website you have option contain in image sizing of blocks. If this couldnt do your need try html/css editor in the website, Inside which you can customise as you wish
I use to scale such images to 1920 x 1440, then I compress them using "Save for Web" (GIMP). However, this is not an Odoo issue (at least for Odoo < 14.0). please search the net for recommended compression methods for websites.
