HI , i am new in odoo just started 2 days ago..i cannot connect odoo with asterisk , i have read many document regarding odoo and asterisk integration. Can any one help me ??

Sorry for such silly question, as this is my 1st post in forum..i installed odoo server and different modules in it..i was setting up asterisk AMI , i followed this step
So the first step is to configure AMI :
create a new AMI account for Odoo
configure AMI to accept requests from Odoo for click2dial.
Should i have to creat AMI for odoo in the same manager.conf file or manager-custom.conf file in asterisk?
