Ahmed helps leaders in their organization's digital transformation journey. His experience includes 17 years in business applications implementation and 6 years in business consulting and project management.
The projects included many multinational companies, Egypt's 3 mobile operators, FMCG, and more than 300 companies in different industries.
The scope covers, business applications, ERP, business intelligence, big data, and data visualization.
On a very tight schedule, Odoo was implemented to manage the whole cycle starting from the customer interface (mobile and web) where people can register and build a full profile (to be ready for the health ministry), then schedule an appointment, pay, follow-up on the results, and receive results. This was integrated with Odoo for the patients' profiles, the invoicing, and the lab management, including the whole workflow from registering the sample, delivery to the lab, approving and then registering the results. Reports and dashboards were essential in order to provide the government with the required insights. Integrations with airports in Egypt and other countries were completed later.
The results:
1. Reduced the waiting time from 3 hours to 15 minutes
2. No risk of losing track of samples or results
3. Real-time reporting and insights
4. Real-time monitoring and auditing of payments.
5. Provided the government reports.
The automation of that process was briefly mentioned in many TV shows (we have a couple of minutes where Amr Adib talks about it).
