Please could someone help me figure out the error in the appended lines of code I have written in an email template :
This line throws an error AssertionError: Element odoo has extra content: data, line 3
An early resolution to this will be much appreciated.

Hi,
If you have any extra contents in the email template please remove it. You can refer to the template codes which are already present in odoo.
Another
common issue is that when you type in the html content of the email
template, don't add space before it, start from the beginning.
