Shane McLeod is a New Zealand hockey coach, living and working in Belgium. He won 3 gold medals the coaching the Belgium Red Lions Hockey Team. Becoming European - World and Olympic champion.
• From 1996 to 1998, Shane McLeod played with the New Zealand Black Sticks Hockey Team and won the gold medal at the World Cup Qualifying Tournament in 1997 in Sardinia.
• From 2002 to 2006, he was the coach of the Red Panthers, the Belgium national women hockey team.
• He became Head Coach of the New Zealand Black Sticks Hockey Team in 2007 and coached the team at the 2008 Being Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics.
• Shane was coach of the Waterloo Ducks Hockey Club with two national titels in 2013 and 2014.
• Since 2015, he is national coach of the Red Lions, the Belgium Hockey Team.
• His team won the silver medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, the silver medal at the 2017 European Championship, gold at the Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018, gold at the 2019 European Championship and another gold at the Tokyo Olympics.
