I would like to migrate from Odoo 7 to Odoo 8, hence wanted to know, where can I find the migration script to migrate Odoo's Core module.

I assume you are looking for a data migration script, because there is no migration of the core module, you just install it from the 8.0 repository. This is what I got from my friend google:

and library https://github.com/OCA/openupgradelib
