How to hide menus "Apps" for specific users? saas~16.4+e

I tried to Go to settings -> technical -> user interface -> menu and search "Apps" and found it, the problem is when I go to Settings -> Users & Companies -> Groups

Then New tries to create a new group .. in  "Application" I can not find "Apps" ..

What is the correct way to reach the point here?

Are you referring to making a specific app or module not visible in the main menu? For example, making the CRM app not visible to a certain user in the main menu.

It's by going to:

Settings -> Technical -> User interface -> Menu  .. and search for "Apps"

Then in the "Visibility" Tab .. "Group Name" ..

Add Line .. then select anything with Administration from the Group List .. like "Administration / Settings"

Press Select .. Then Save ..

And the "Apps" for Normal users are Gone!

this is same what it is going to happen if you uninstall the app, not sure what makes you to keep the app installed and removed the functionality

It's always safer to disable something than uninstall it .. there is a return path if you want to enable it again. but only an opinion because I have little experience than you, and you may deal with any buds/error in your db but not me :) thanks a lot, brother.

Hi,
If you don't want normal users to see the Apps menu, just uninstall the base_install_request module from db.

Thanks

Can I remove Normal User from accessing this "base_install_request" by rule or group?

Please explain, I am using Saas 16.4

if you dont want normal users to see it, easiest way is to uninstall this app: base_install_request

How to uninstall it for a specific user? and will it affect the db overall?

if you dont want NORMAL USERS to see the apps menu, you can uninstall this APP, uninstalling the app wont cause any problem !!!
