Hi all

I'm experiencing a strange behaviour of Odoo 9.0c while printing Invoices with standard layout.

  • I can see a correctly formatted invoice when using HTML report.

  • Same report, in PDF, has no layout, footer and header.

I've searched for solution but every hint suggested had no effect on my setup.

To reproduce and, I really hope, helping me on this issue:

- Odoo 9.0c Community Edition installed on CentOS 7 64bit

- I've tried to set report.url and web.base.url as suggested on several posts

report.url -> http://localhost:8069    (tried also with eth IP Address)
web.base.url -> http://localhost:8069  (tried also with eth IP Address)

- I'm accessing Odoo9 from web browser on the same subnet not behind a proxy,

- I've tried all those versions of pdf render tool

wkhtmltopdf 0.12.0
wkhtmltopdf 0.12.1
wkhtmltopdf 0.12.2
wkhtmltopdf 0.12.2.1
wkhtmltopdf 0.12.3

Tried 32bit releases too

Nothing relevant on my logfiles.

Any help would be appreciated

Have you checked if it works from the external report preview?

This can be found when in development mode via a button on the company form on the report configuration tab.

I use the recommended version

I did setup odoo 9 community on ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) still having same trouble to solve wkhtmltopdf :-( there is no .deb version for 0.12.1 and qt-patched 0.12.3 generic-linux-i386 from download.gna.org installed still returns the header / footer error. We want to purchase the enterprise edition - should we migrate directly to odoo 10? Is easy database import from 9 to 10 supported ? Would we be able to solve wkhtmltopdf problem that why ?

The recommended version is:    wkhtmltopdf 0.12.1 (with patched qt)

Try package from this location: https://nightly.odoo.com/extra/

or from this http://download.gna.org/wkhtmltopdf/0.12/0.12.1/
