So we have created the user mike.

Mike has the default role assigned:
Sales: User: Own Documents Only

When mike tries to create a Contact (individual) the following error message appears:

Access Error

You are not allowed to access 'Fields' (ir.model.fields) records. This operation is allowed for the following groups: - Administration/Access Rights Contact your administrator to request access if necessary.

We have tried enabling Dev Mode and granting this access:
Extra Rights -> Contact Creation

This did not work.

We have tried creating a new group assigning it to the CRM Application

We set Read, Write, Create for the following models: companies, contact, lead/opportunity. 

And added Mike's user to this group. 

We logged out Mike, and checked again. 
Still Mike was not able to create a contact.

How can we solve this?
