Hi everyone, I installed version 17 but I'm having problems starting the service. 

I already checked and I have Python 3.10 installed.

Thank you for the answer, I solve it with the commands below; 

sudo update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/python3 python3 /usr/bin/python3.10 2
sudo update-alternatives --config python3
But I had other problems when I tried to start Odoo 17, despite having already installed the packages.

Hi,

The Issues likely from your Virtual Environment likely using Python 3.8 instead of Python3.10.Here's how to solve this:
1) Verify PyCharm's Python Interpreter:
Go to File > Settings > Project: [Your Project Name] > Project Interpreter.
Check the currently selected interpreter. If it's Python 3.8

2) Switch  Python Interpreter in PyCharm:Since you installed Python 3.10Click the gear icon next to the current interpreter.
Select "Add Interpreter...".
Choose "System Interpreter" and browse to the path of your Python 3.10 installation. Click "OK".

3)Restart PyCharm and Retry Odoo:Close and reopen PyCharm to ensure the new interpreter is loaded.

while installing odoo17 on aws server via putty
same issue faced in ubuntu server aws please look into it....
