TypeError: this.$(...).zoomOdoo is not a function

    at web.assets_frontend_lazy.min.js:6259:13

    at async Promise.all (index 1)

    at async createPublicRoot (web.assets_frontend_lazy.min.js:6223:1047)


I'm getting above error in console of my odoo project

I've recently upgraded the odoo from v17 to 18 and I'm getting this error

My custom module is not using zoomOdoo and zoomOdoo related error comes from odoo's website module

I hope you are doing well,

Fix: zoomOdoo is not a function Error (Odoo 17→18)
Cause: Odoo 18 removed the zoomOdoo jQuery plugin. Cached v17 assets conflict with v18.

Solution:
  # Clear assets cache
  ./odoo-bin -d your_database -u website --stop-after-init
  # Restart Odoo and clear browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete)

if persists, delete cached assets: DELETE FROM ir_attachment WHERE name LIKE '%assets%'; then restart.
