Help: Time-off request for non-users

Question

Hi. Is it necessary to make all employees a "user" just so they can file their leaves on Time-off? Or is there a way to generate request/s on their behalf?

@Patricia Syjueco: We have to create a related "users" for an employee record. By this way, while login an employee, then system will authenticate and the employee can able to enter their requests and managers approve and validate them in just a few clicks.
HR/ Managers can also create the time off request on the behalf of a particular employee.

Hi ,
The employee can create own leave request or the manager can create leaves to a particular employee upon his request.
To create own leave request, employee needs to login in this case user is mandatory
