Is there an export function for Studio apps that would allow creation of a module that could be installed on other installations or listed on the Odoo app store?

There is some functionality for transferring customizations - but only with the ONLINE Edition, or the upcoming v11 ENTERPRISE Edition:
I don't believe the ZIP format will be compatible with the Apps Store, but it may contain XML files that can be used if you wanted to make your own App. (Haven't tried)
