I want to get proposed_salary value and employee_salary value in javascript and then add the values, show the sum value into another field.

Hi Shoaib,
Add a custom class for the input and t-esc span tags, and using that class tags fetch its value using jquery selectors.
Either use the functions inside the $(document).ready(function () {}) method or if its a Odoo rendered template, extends the particular widget which is used to render the template and fetch the details within that widget and calculate the sum and pass that value into the field using jquery.
